Tango 59° puts great emphasis on the quality of its DJs, something which to us is an absolutely central factor in making the milongas a superb experience for all tango dancers.

Mario Orlando

Mario Orlando is indisputably the most famous tango DJ in the world. He plays regularly in all the most prestigious and well-known milongas in Buenos Aires, but he also appears in a number of underground and alternative places. We are extremely proud to present, for the sixth time - and as the only European festival - Mario Orlando to the Tango 59° audience. This is a unique opportunity to meet and dance to the music of a true DJ legend, one who defines the very art of tango DJ:ing.

Bachar Bitar

Bachar is musician and tango dancer, he enjoyed listening to tango music before started to dance. He loves the connection between music, movement and the couple creating dynamic and emotional expression in the dance. When Bachar is dj-ing he provides tango music that goes very fast from the ears to the heart to the feet.

Anna Sol

Anna lives in Malmö, Sweden and is exploring tango since the year 2000. She is a part of the dynamic tangoschool Tangokompaniet and has also been staying in Basel giving classes and DJing. She has been DJing at several tango events in Europe. Since she is a dedicated tango dancer she is very focused on giving the dancers the very best.

Thomas Zelikman

Thomas Zelikman is a tango DJ with passion for traditional tangos. He organizes and DJ's at milongas in Copenhagen and has kept dancers on the floor in Copenhagen and at tango festivals in Denmark, Iceland, Sweden and Spain since 2002.

Bianca Cruzeiro

Bianca is a part of the local tango scene in Stockholm, mainly as a member of the dance company Barra Querida, where she teaches and DJ:s. She also travels a lot for international tango experiences. Bianca is a fairly "fresh" DJ, and derives directly from the dance when DJ:ing. Listening with the body! When playing she likes to create a feeling of dancing with the dance floor.
